| Gotta weigh each bag individually! There is nothing like getting to the KLM counter and getting every bag checked for you MISSION TRIP and the lady at the counter telling you, this bag is over the weight limit, and this bag is over the weight limit, and this bag is over the weight limit. I really wanted to say well we stopped on the way and everyone had a burger, shake and fries.....including the bags!!! They take that extra .5lbs seriously, digital scale ordered and hopefully this year we won't have that problem!!! |

| Whew....that's just a few of the bags. All said and done we have 14 duffel bags stuffed with backpacks, school supplies, VBS, crafts, and mini medical kits for all the kids at the school. In country we will be picking up the uniforms, socks, and shoes to add for each kid. The fun has just begun!!! |

| DONE! Exactly one week to take off for Mission Trip 2017! I can't wait to share all the exciting things GOD will be doing on this Mission Trip with you when we get back!!! Please keep us in your prayers as we get ready to travel. Pray for our traveling safety and for all bags to arrive in Kenya with us. I can almost feel my spot waiting for me at the lost baggage desk in Kenya, but 3rd time's a charm, right? So please pray! Pray for God's will to be done, for us to be able to give these kids the tools they need to attend school, but most importantly to tell them why we are giving them these school supplies. Because God loved us so much we want to share HIS love, and by giving these much needed school supplies we can be His hands and His feet in our world. Be the change you want to see in the world!!! |
