Bennett Sims Memorial Construction Fund
Established in 2018 in memory of founding board member Bennett Sims, the Memorial Construction Fund serves as the vehicle for The Plans HE Has For You Ministries to undertake refurbishment and construction projects.
2022 Construction
Partnered with Mbagu Builders to plaster classroom walls, construct new latrines and connect them via sidewalk, and plaster all classroom walls.
2021 Construction
Partnered with Mbagu Builders to construct an Early Childhood Development classroom, resurface the lower veranda, add sinks and wash stations, and connect the upper and lower wing via sidewalk.
Additionally partnered with Njoroge Furniture to construct 85 desks for Nduchi students.
2020 Construction
Partnering with Mbagu Builders to construct The Lord’s Kitchen to enable the feeding of more than 300 meals daily. The kitchen is equipped with 3 jikos that utilize either charcoal or firewood for cooking.
Local fundi, Timothy Githinjo, outfitted the storeroom with shelving and tables for the kitchen.
2019 Construction
Partnered with Mbagu Builders to resurface classroom floors, window and doorframes, install additional skylights, and reconstruct the veranda on the upper class wing.
Additionally, the 2019 mission team painted the exterior of the school.
