Naomi Wangui Mindu

I’m Naomi Wangui Mindu, married to Samuel Mindu and a mother of 2 boys. I’m a book keeper and serve as the Program Director and Treasurer of The Plans HE Has For You Kenya. I also work at Haven on the Hill Children’s Home and this is where I met Robert and Barbara when they came to visit.

I grew up around Haven, went to Munyu-ini Primary School for 8 years and later transferred to Nduchi Primary School for 1 year. These 2 primary schools are under the sponsorship of The Plans HE Has For You Kenya. I remember all the uncountable times I went to Munyu-ini without lunch and shoes. Not just me but a group of us from less privileged families. That took away all my self-esteem. There was nothing more exciting than going to school with packed lunch in the back pack no matter how little it was.

 I can’t thank Robert & Barbara enough for allowing God to use them in establishing this ministry - the feeding program especially. I can testify that this has brought so much joy to these kids. The confidence that comes with knowing that there is lunch after a stressful morning of learning makes learning fun and enjoyable. I would be looking forward to going to school each day. The back packs, shoes and uniforms that makes all students look and feel equal is a blessing. I look forward to seeing this ministry grow and reach more lives.

Elizabeth Njoki Kiarie

My name is Elizabeth Kiarie. I am a born again Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. By God’s grace I am the Program Director in the Feeding Program of four schools facilitated by The Plans He Has For You Ministries in Central Kenya. My role in the ministry is to purchase and distribute groceries needed in all the schools, supervise the preparation and making of meals, respond to needs and concerns of the service providers and ensure salaries are paid in time. I feel immensely blessed to be part of the story that started in November 2020. It is very encouraging to see increased enrollment in these schools, hopeful faces and children happily taking hot meals especially in the cold season. The service providers also tell testimonies of how the Lord came through for them when there seemed to be no way out of their financial struggle. The distributors of the groceries and firewood too are very grateful.

May the Lord bless the Plans He Has For You Ministries.
