READY TO LEARN
Give a Child the Tools to Learn
Every child deserves the opportunity to participate in school with dignity. Ready to Learn helps address the practical barriers of uniforms, shoes and school supplies that can make education more difficult for children and families.
Support School Essentials
Why It Matters
When essential school supplies are difficult to afford or obtain, students and caregivers face added pressures. Practical support helps children arrive ready to learn.
Our Response
Working with our school partners in Kenya, we seek to identify priority needs and help provide appropriate learning essentials and student-readiness support. The specific items and activities vary according to verified school needs and available funding.
Faith in Action
Jesus welcomed and valued children. Because we believe each child bears God-given worth, we seek to serve students with compassion and practical care.
“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”Mark 9:37 (New International Version)
